Myspace Secrets - Mr X

Today Was a very exciting day for me. I had the pleasure of interviewing one of the best myspace marketers out there. I wanted to reveal his name. However he pulled me up and said "He didnt want to be called by his first name....please call me Mr X!" .......ahhh OK!

Because he wanted his identity to remain annonymous I am only going to refer to him as Mr X.

Transcript of the interview below :-

Me   : "Thankyou for being with us today. I was wondering ...Mr X if I could ask a few questions for all our listerners out there."

Mr X. : "First of all I would like to say thankyou for letting me join your discussion, please ask away!"

Me   : "I could go on for hours and hours but look I want to ask you the 5 most important questions that everyone out there wanted to know more about!"

Mr X. : "ahh yeah ok, Id be glad to help out!"

Me   :  "Ok I know I am hearing this over and over....Isnt myspace marketing dead??"

Mr X. :  "Ha ha ....yes it must be dead thats why I am consistantly making about over $1500 each day....I love hearing this it makes people wanna quit and it makes it so much easier for people like us. It really is one of the most opportunistic approaches to getting more targeted traffic and sales to your site. So no its not dead at all....thats for sure."

Me   :  "Wow that is some nice coin! So how long did it take you to get to that level?"

Mr X. : "Good question! I guess I have been at it the last year or so. I have a fairly good friends list. I mean, its not a very huge list but the people there are highly responsive to everything I do. Infact days that I choose not to be online, I will normally get several emails asking me where  I am? Crazy huh! But what I must say is that Its all about getting people to like you and gaining their trust. Once you can do that you have them in the palm of your hand literally. You can sell them but you really have to get their mouth watering first."

Me   : "Yes thats for sure but can you explain that a bit more in details for the listeners.?"

Mr X. : "Sure! What I mean is that you need what I call juicers! what these are are freebies, little programs, games or whatever for free, give them somthing where they go away and say whoa that was great Im gunna have to go back and get some more. Once you do this, well you know when your driving past an icecream shop and you crave for one real bad. You crave for it so bad you can almost taste it! mmm mmmmm That sensation, it drives you wild, and you normally give in and go buy it and chomp it down like there is no tomorrow. Well that is what im talking about here! Give them what they want and let them crave it soooo bad that they will do anything to have it in their posession"

Me   : "Wow thats a great description! I think you are making me hungry!"

Mr X. : "Yeah come to think of it I am getting a little hungry just talking about it! *Laughs*"

Me   :  "Haaa aaaa!"

Mr X. : "I have had so much success with this technique but do you want to know the real secrets to myspace and using it market a specific product.....HUh"

Me   : "OK spit it out.....PLEASE!"

Mr X. :  "You Ready?"

Me   :  "Ummm Yes anytime...feel free when your ready *Laughs*"

Mr X. :  "OK there real secret is to keep your strategies simple and easy to implement. ?"

Me   :  "Oh yes thats a good one! Do you want to explain a bit more in detail for the listeners!"

Mr X. : "Asolutely! What I mean is that dont go trying 30 different things at once. Try a few things, set up a few bulletins and see what is working. Test different headlines, subheads copy and do it in fashion that you testing one day and recording what happend the next. Keep it simple, keep it relaxed, keep records, and TEST>>>TEST>>>>TEST!" It where I went from making a few hundred dollars a day to over $1000 a day. I test things all they time and do it in a way by recording results and incorporating more of what is working and less of what is not doing so well. Thats the key to being successful. Once you master it, you will go onto bigger and better things."

Me   : "Your totally Right! I can think of many things that I have done wrong and lost hundred if not thousands of dollars because I did not test first. Do a little bit of research first too that always helps too."

Mr X. : "Yes it does! Oh by the by I read your mammoth myspace ebook, and I love it. Its got some great tips for the beginner to advanced in there, everything is rock hard core solid info that will help alot of people out there, so congrats on your success. I highly recommend it to all contemplated using myspace as part of their marketing vehicle. You wont look back"
