Myspace Secrets - The importants of Inconspicuous

Myspace Secrets - inconspicuous.

After the numerous emails telling me for helping
people with their myspace endeavors. I don't get some
feedback saying myspace marketing is dead.

Ok so for starters lets clear things up a bit.

Myspace marketing is not dead. Forget those rumors.
There are still lots of people making good money on myspace
right now.

I know two personal friends that get up to 40 optins a day
and make in excess of $5,000 a week, Yes no joke.

See what sets them above the rest is that they know how to
bend the rules and what myspace monitors. But really what
it comes down to is being inconspicuous. What is this you ask?

Well you have to know how to market smarter and under the
radar so the officials cant tell what your doing. Too many people
spam friends list and tell others to spam their lists. How stupid!

You have to do the soft approach or what I call the "soft presell"

you need a way to contact you first so that you can send info back.
this soft presell approach goes something like this.

e.g. lets say you are hanging around an allergy forum in myspace.
Someone posts they have an allergy program and wants to know
a full home remedy that can get rid of their ghastly hay fever quickly.

So what you would do is post back "This is how I cure my hayfever at home
within about 5-6 minutes I'm totally cured, just email me if you would like more"
instantly you have caught their interest and they will only contact you if they are
very very keen. You might want to post a few things but don't give them everything
or all your secrets just tell them enough to arouse massive interest in getting
more info from you.

So remember to try this approach, its seems to be working for some of
the big myspace marketing names as such. This info was actually meant to become
a secret. But you deserve to hear what works as I treasure those on my lists. They
deserve the best of the best.

Become inconspicuous and you will be rewarded greatly...no one like being spammed
or getting sold the hard way, do they?? Of course not.

It is guaranteed to work. So I hope you incorporate this into your style of marketing.

Myspace Secrets - Tricks for Making Money on MySpace

Tricks for Making Money on MySpace

There are a several important tricks to making money on MySpace. In this section, I will
go over some of these tricks – and how you can best use them to your advantage.
The first trick to making money on MySpace involves leveraging all power available to
grow your friends list by adding “interested prospects” (friends). You can do this
by contacting people who have massive friends lists and offering to pay them to send out
a bulletin. You should do this in conjunction with some contest you are having on either
your MySpace profile or on your website.

Simply have the account owner announce that you have started a contest – and that all
people who fit a certain profile (i.e. swimmers, football fans, etc.) should enter. This will
allow you to build a list of prospects, rather than people who simply join your friends list
unwittingly or because you have invited them.

Now that you have this list of prospects, you will want to begin making your pitch to them
by baiting them with contests and money – and then slowly revealing your product or
service to them in an attempt to gain long term customers.

Now, another trick you can use for making money on MySpace involves creating some
contest around adding friends to your profile. For instance, you could offer to do
something interesting and videotape it if you get a certain amount of friends (100,000, for
instance) or you could offer to give away $500 to the person who gets the most friends
to join your MySpace.

Regardless of what you do, it is important to find ways in which you can leverage any
power that you do have to get people to join your friends list at an increasingly faster
rate. Additionally, if you are able to find warm prospects, rather than random people, that
as an additional bonus.

myspace secrets -tickers

As Myspace has grown to be a 800 pound internet gorilla the web business world has been trying to figure out why it’s successful and perhaps more importantly how to take advantage of it and market to it’s user gigantic user base. I’ve seen many people talk about using Myspace to market their business, but I’ve seen very few examples of it being done successfully besides the music industry.

I was made aware of RollerWarehouse and the success they’ve had by creating a news ticker of their rollerskating-focused blog posts for people to put on their Myspace profile pages. Here’s an example profile with it going, and here’s the ticker in action:

Roller Warehouse: Aggressive Rollerblade Skates

The kicker is that by running this on your Myspace page (or any other web page for that matter), you can get 5% off any order you place with RollerWarehouse. So, if you’re into rollerskating, you can put news on your Myspace page to make it cooler, and you can get 5% off your orders. Not bad.

So how has this worked out for RollerWarehouse?

In it’s first two weeks of action RollerWarehouse.com went from a Google Pagerank of 0 to a 6, sales for March were up about 10% over 2005’s sales which was their first increase in 4 years. The program has a viral effect as other Myspacers see it on pages and add it to their’s, so the link benefit is just growing, as well as the number of customers taking advantage of the 5% off. They currently estimate that 50-75 new news tickers are being placed today for a total somewhere between 750-1000 total tickers running on people’s pages.
Why is that Google Pagerank important? Well, now everytime they highlight a product on their blog, they get great natural search results in Google for that search term. For example, they went from nowhere to being ranked #1 in Google results for “aggressive skates”, and are currently sitting at #2. That is one of the top search terms for their industry.

How much work was this for RollerWarehouse? Not much, simply creating the news ticker and getting it adopted by the first few users.

What a simple and great way to market their ecommerce business and blog.

Hope This helps

Regards

John S.
